“Excellent and Luxurious Resort -Grand Lido Braco”

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Grand Lido Braco. I went down as a fitness professional to teach fitness classes to the other travelers at this resort. It was an excellent experience. Grand Lido Braco is far enough away from the crowded Negril and Montego Bay area to have your privacy and calm, quiet getaway, but still close enough to take advantage of day trips, excursions, etc. The food was absolutely excellent. We actually had to stay an extra day in Jamaica because our flight was overbooked when we got to the airport. The resort that Air Jamaica put us up in for the night just couldn't compare. The staff at Grand Lido was fun but relaxed. The facilities are beautiful - especially the fitness center and spa. There were many activities going on throughout the day to keep you busy if you're the "joiner" type. Frankly, we didn't do any excursions because we were too lazy, which means we were at the resort every minute of our trip, and absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this "luxury" style resort and location over any of the others based upon what I heard about the more crowded areas of the island. Thumbs up!

“Another Great Trip to GLB!”

We just returned from our 3rd stay at GLB (8/30 - 9/6) and had a great time once again.

The food was always good, but seemed better this time. We're not sure if it was due to low occupancy, but except for breakfast and the beach and street parties, the were no buffets. All lunches were a la carte and very good (as were breakfast and dinner).

Our room was one whose bathroom had not been remodeled yet although most apparently were. It was definitely old and outdated, but clean, and certainly acceptable so we did not bother to ask for another room.

We stayed textile but spent most days AN. The AN area was very enjoyable. You must cover up for lunch, which was also a la carte. As everyone says, try the lambchops - outstanding. Also they have added a soft ice cream machine at the AN lunch area - very refreshing.

Service was also improved. You could see the staff were happy to help you enjoy your stay and they made us feel very welcome.

The only problem we had was bugs!. On day one were were eaten attacked by sand fleas on the AN beach, and by mosquitos on our last night.

There was no sign of bugs in our room which other than the bathroom was very nice.

We'll plan trip 4 as soon as we can!
