“Best Place To Hideaway and Relax”
Grand Pineapple Beach Negril
This 3 star resort is a comfortable, nice and clean place to spend your stay if you really want to experience the true Jamaica. The staff was polite and check in was no problem. The only two cokplaints I have are that 1: the food wasn't traditional jamaican food, and when I spoke to the manager, his response was that they have to cater to an international crowd, which was understandable; 2: this resort had absolutely no activities, scuba diving, snorkeling etc. was on the beach but you had to pay extra and they belonged to the locals. As for security, rest assured that security couldn't be any better! They have 24 hr security in which if you step off the grounds they want to know where you're going and when you come back, they makesure that there's no add'l person/s with you heading to your room. All in all, this resort best for you if you don't mind the lack of activites and you just want to relax in a beautiful scenery. By the way, garden side rooms are the best choice!
“Will Be Back Every Summer”
At first, I was not too pleased with the appearance, especially after passing the other hotels but after one day, I completely changed my mind. The staff is the absolute best they are friendly and genuine.
The ladies in the gift shop (Colette, Kiesha & Nicola) took time out and guided us to all the right events and tours. Joseph and Roger took excellent care of us in the restaurant. Alfonso made sure all was secure and Leroy and Clyde taught my friend and I how to swim…..kind of!!!
The food was great, the people were awesome and even the hagglers were nice to have around. I will definitely not forget Micheline. I plan to go back every summer. I miss it so much. Also, if planning a trip you must go to Sun Feast…it's an all night party.
