Merrils Beach Resort I

just got back from merrils 1 this morning and wow it was fantastic.
it is a small family run hotel that treats you like one of the family and more, we stayed here for two weeks and will be going back
we have been to the caribbean a number of times with our now four year old daughter but no where has made our holiday so pleasurable, it is non regimental as we have found with the other large all inclusives the beach was beautiful and clean and very safe for our daughter, lifeguard and securiy included unlike some others we saw where it did state swim at own risk the gardens were very well kept and the rooms were delightful very clean maids were so friendly nothing too much trouble as with all the staff even the gardners made
a fuss of us (hi to tony) the food although buffet was very nice and a good choice and to eat our meals at the edge of the beach watching the waves lap up and the sun go down as amazing as for negril itself we had been warned not to wander off before we went but as usual we ignored this and to our amazement the locals were as friendly as our hotel staff just one or two people that wanted us to buy their goods but a polite no thankyou and they were on their way even in the main town of negril on market day, we did do a number of trips ys fall, the black river crocodiles and ricks cafe which is located on the cliffs where you seem to be in another world it looks like someone had just dropped this place from the sky, divers throwing themselves from the cliffs into the deep blue ocean and a terrific atmosphere with live band a pool and restaurant/bar and people from all over the
globe mingling together in amazement, what more can i say, go for it!!!!
