My husband & I stayed at the Riu September 20-27th 2008. We had a view of the ocean & a short walk to the beautiful beach. We stayed in a junior suite which I would recommend because you can eat at the specialty restaurants. The room was very nice but the bed was a little hard. The entire staff was very helpful & friendly. There were nightly shows & music that were fun. The resort is beautiful. The food was good but we did prefer the specialty restaurants. I would wait until about 5:45 or 6pm to book our dinner reservations to avoid the long lines. If you have the chance you should go to Dunns waterfalls. It is an incredible site & only 5 minutes from the resort. All & all we had an amazing time & would definitely go back to the Riu! As they say no worries!
