“Plan to return!!”

This was my first vacation to someplace other that Europe and I can say without a doubt that it is responsible for my subsequent trips. Let me begin by saying that the beach on this resort is amazing. The two RIU resorts as well as the Hedonism resort are on Bloody Bay. The appears to help the erosion that would normally occur on an open beach. I remember walking out in the water and thinking that I am out at least the length of a soccer pitch and the water was only up to my chest. The sand and color of the water are absolutely beautiful.

The hotel itself was very nice. Food, drinks and people were always very good. One thing though was that if you want to eat at one of the restaurants plan to get up at like 7AM to make a reservation. All of them were normally filled up early in the am and I only got to eat at one of them.

All in all I greatly enjoyed my trip to Negril and i plan to return in early 2009. Don't let anyone tell you that Jamaica is not a safe place to go as I never felt threatened even when I did venture off the resort.
